Packing Tips
- Heavy items at the bottom: Canned goods, books, and liquids go at the bottom. Clothes and soft items on top.
- Wrap fragile items: Use clothes or towels to wrap electronics, glass, and ceramics.
- Seal liquids: Put shampoo, lotion, and sauces in ziplock bags to prevent spills.
- No prohibited items: No batteries, flammable liquids, aerosols, perishable food (fresh meat/dairy), or counterfeit goods.
- Document contents: Write a packing list and keep a copy. Take photos before sealing.
- Reinforce the box: Use packing tape on all seams and corners. Double-box electronics.
Customs Rules (2026)
- OFWs can send boxes duty and tax-free up to PHP 150,000 in value
- Allowed 3 times per calendar year per qualified person
- Contents must be non-commercial (personal effects, gifts only)
- Governed by Customs Administrative Order No. 01-2018
Christmas Shipping Deadlines
To ensure Christmas delivery, ship by August-September for sea freight. October shipments may arrive late. December shipments will NOT arrive by Christmas.
